| Crating
and Box making
A Safety Speed vertical panel saw can greatly improve
the operation of a crating shop or box making operation. Our
C4 and H-Series
panel saws work very well with prices starting under $2100.
These machines come complete with an industrial duty saw motor,
fully assembled and aligned straight from our factory.
If you are looking to increase productivity and safety, the

that will dramatically expand the efficiency and versatility
of your panel saws. We also offer three unique accessory
packages that will allow you to customize your machine

| Construction
What if you could show up at the new job site with a tool
that allows for easy, accurate panel cutting? What if you
could move it from job site to job site right in the back
of your pickup? You can! Check out the C4
panel saw from Safety Speed.
The C4 vertical panel
saw makes accurate, quick and safe cuts easy. You can handle
full sized sheets with one person and easily get 1/32"
accuracy.
Your worksite safety will improve too! You no longer have
to balance a sheet between two sawhorses and line up a hand
held saw. A vertical panel saw allows one person to easily
handle a sheet of plywood and make all the cuts you need.
For transporting, just grab your buddy and load the C4
into the pickup truck. How easy is that? Add the C4
to your crew and improve your productivity, accuracy and safety
its first day on the job.

Because we use an industrial sized 8" diameter blade,
we can offer a selection of specialty
blades designed to cut any sign material safely and accurately
while maintaining a finished quality edge. For those customers
with less stringent requirements, lower cost blades are widely
available in most hardware stores and home centers nationwide.
Now you are able to customize your machine to get the maximum productivity with our unique sign saw package, knife kit, and accessories. With our intense focus on providing our customers with outstanding products, value, and customer service you can be extremely confident in your decision to buy our products. Cabinetmaking
Cabinet shops have a variety of unique equipment needs that
can be met by several different Safety Speed machines.
Craftsmen find the C4
and H-Series panel
saws to be economical choices that maintain the important
features and benefits of our larger models. These models feature
industrial motors, 5 ft. or 10 ft. completely welded steel
frames, 1/32" accuracy, vertical and horizontal rulers
and much more.
For tougher applications, our 6400
and 6800 models offer
heavier material handling rollers, extra frame construction
and worm drive motors. These models guarantee accuracy of
1/64" straight and square.
The most demanding shops find our 7000, 7400,
7400XL and ES52
models exceed their expectations at a price that significantly
beats imported machines.
The models SR5 and
SR5U saw-router combination
machines allow cabinetmakers to switch between a saw and router
in less than one minute. Safety Speed's specially engineered
router platform floats on the surface of the panel producing
very accurate and consistent depth of cuts.
For those jobs that require 36" or less cross dado capacity,
our model TR2 is a
great investment. This horizontal table router has the ability
to do standard dados, cut blind dados and rabbet dados on
cabinet sides and full faces in just a matter of seconds.
Because the cutting head runs over the top of your panel,
there is no dangerously exposed tooling.
To help sand down face frames and any other pieces take a
look at our new line of wide
belt sanders. We make them right here in Minnesota using
heavy-duty component parts to provide years of productive
service in your shop. These machines were added to make panel
processing easier just like our vertical panel saws. With
37" and 43" wide options, and single or three-phase
power, these affordable and durable machines are already helping
many of our panel saw customers improve the productivity of
their cabinetmaking operation.

| Solid
Surface
Fabricating solid surface? A vertical panel saw or router
is what you need to handle those large heavy sheets. Let our
6400 do the cutting and
our 3400 do the V-grooving
with accuracy in both squareness and depth.
Combine the two machines to get our SR5U.
This machine will allow you to have the capacity of the 6400
and 3400 all on one
frame. This is the only way to handle solid surface material
without breaking your back.
If you find that the majority of your fabricating entails
cutting you should consider our largest machine - the ES52.
With the ability to move the saw both vertically and horizontally
you can save a lot of labor time and have a finished cut the
first time.

| Truck
and Trailer Body Builders
When you're working with panels for vehicle body building
take a serious look at our industrial vertical panel saws.
They can make your job a lot easier! Ripping plywood for the
inner walls of a trailer? Cutting MDO for your delivery trucks?
Cutting aluminum sheets? It doesn't matter. We have a vertical
panel saw that can make your application more productive.
Our 6400 model vertical
panel saw is rock solid for industrial cutting throughout
the day. You get a strong 3 hp worm drive motor and a 10'
frame that can take the punishment of production cutting.
If the boss wants bare bones price and lots of value, check
out the H-Series vertical
panel saws. You get a 10' welded frame and a Milwaukee 3 1/4
hp motor. You'll look smart making the boss happy by adding
one of these to your shop.
The bottom line is that Safety Speed will make your job
easier and your business more productive. See for yourself
what a Safety Speed vertical panel saw can do for you
today!

| Woodworking
Vertical Panel Saws
A Safety Speed vertical panel saw will give any woodshop
added productivity. The biggest benefit of adding our vertical
panel saw is the ability for a single person to cut large
sheets by themselves. This allows small and large shops to
complete big jobs with less labor.
Our saws also offer improved safety, accuracy and speed compared
to cutting big panels on a traditional table saw or with a
hand held circular saw. Our vertical design also takes up
minimal floor space in your shop, which means added productivity
without the need to increase your shop size.
Craftsmen find the H-Series
panel saws to be an economical choice while maintaining the
important features and benefits of our larger models.
Businesses that require medium to heavy usage and higher
precision usually specify our models 6400
or 6800.
Woodworkers with very demanding applications and high precision
requirements find our models 7000, 7400
or 7400XL exceed their
expectations at a very affordable price.
Our model ES52 is designed
for continuous production and tight tolerance cutting. The
traveling beam allows the operator to leave the panel stationary
while executing cuts. Compared to other European style panel
saws, this one definitely delivers the most productivity for
the investment!
Wide Belt Sanders
To provide another useful tool for the shop, we recently introduced
an affordable line of Wide
Belt Sanders. Just like our panel saws they are individually
built to order in Minnesota. We build our sanders with heavy-duty
components to provide years of dependable use. There are several
models in 37" and 43" width sizes, single or three-phase
power, and accessory options too. Priced below nearly all
of the imports, these American Made machines enable even the
smallest shops to improve their sanding abilities.
Routers
In addition to panel cutting and sanding machines we also
offer vertical and table panel routers. For dedicated routing
in limited space see the 3400
vertical panel router. Save time doing your straight line
repetitive routing so you can concentrate on the project details.
Accuracy is assured at 1/64" and you can cross rout sheets
up to 62".
Another routing option for panels up to 36" is the TR2
table router. Like the 3400, this machine features a specially
engineered router platform that floats on the surface of the
panel and includes quick stops for an easy one-person dado
machine.
Saw and Router Combination Machines
The models SR5 and SR5U
saw-router combination machines allow woodworkers to switch
between a saw and router in less than one minute. Like the
dedicated panel routers, these machines include a router platform
that can float on the surface of the panel producing a very
accurate and consistent depth of cut.

| Schools
Whether you're making industrial arts, crafts, metal parts,
or stage sets, Safety Speed has a vertical panel saw and/or
router that can help your school.
The reason schools love our products is because of the safety,
speed and accuracy of their operation. All our vertical panel
saws cut with a blade that is behind the carriage so there
is no exposed blade for casual operator contact. The carriage
is mounted on guide tubes and the counter weight systems make
going up as easy as down.
These saws make it very easy to cut a panel. Loading and
unloading is a snap because you hold the sheet vertically.
In addition to cross cutting (up and down), quickly pull two
knobs and rotate the cutting head ninety degrees for rip cutting
(end to end).
If your need is to conserve space in the shop, you're in
luck. Safety Speed panel saws take up small footprints
(floor areas) because they are vertical. The C4
vertical panel saw features a five-foot long frame and the
H series feature a
ten-foot frame. From front to back you only need 36 inches!
In addition to vertical panel saws, we also offer another
great tool for schools - the TR2
table router. This router is mounted on guide tubes and an
industrial frame. Now you can safely and accurately make dados
for your projects. For larger panels, you can also combine
the saw and router into one super versatile machine - the
SR5.

Centers and Lumberyards
Lumberyards were one of the first applications for Safety Speed panel saws more than 45 years ago. These customers
realized the benefits of a faster, safer and more accurate
alternative for cutting their sheet goods. Today, our saws
continue to be an indispensable machine in many lumberyards
and home centers. Whether using them for custom cutting customer
orders, sizing panels for retail applications or cutting material
in the millwork shop, our saws still prove to be a very important
piece of equipment in these environments.
Our H-5 panel saw
has always been the workhorse for smaller lumberyards. It
handles full 4x8 sheets with ease and has a full 64"
crosscut capacity. The durable 3 ¼ hp, 15 amp Milwaukee
motor is designed to cut panels, including standard doors,
up to 1 ¾" thick. The H-5 panel saw comes fully
assembled and aligned in our factory to hold 1/32" cutting
accuracy, straight and square.
For larger lumberyards and home centers, our models 6400
and 7000 have become the standard. The 6400 is built with a heavy-duty
frame, solid aluminum rollers, double bearings, a counter-weight
system and a 3 hp worm-drive motor while the heavier duty 7000 features a 3 hp, 3~ continuous duty induction motor or an optional 2 hp, 1~ motor
We offer a variety of accessories
that can dramatically expand the efficiency and versatility
of your panel saw. We also offer three unique accessory
packages that will allow you to customize your machine
to best suit your operation at a reduced cost.

Components
Are you tired of cutting your doors or shutters by hand?
It's time that you add a Safety Speed panel saw to your
production to increase your accuracy, safety and speed. We
have been solving the cutting needs of component manufacturers
since 1958.
Are you just cutting a few products a day? Take a look at
our H-Series vertical
panel saws. They are able to cut materials as thick as 1 3/4"
and as wide as 76". These machines are built with a fully
welded and aligned frame and guide system to make sure your
final cut is accurate and smooth.
Go with the 7000 or the 7400 for
higher production capacity and a larger depth of cut. The 7000 and
7400 is known for its
production capabilities. We have customers that use these saws
to cut full sheets of 2" aluminum! Both saws can run 8
hours a day and not even blink. If you have several hundred
cuts to make each day this is your saw.
While you're at it take a look at our Wide
Belt Sanders and Routers
for your processing needs within the shop. Our Wide Belt Sanders
are made in our Minnesota factory and will allow you to sand
your components in a matter of seconds. We know that time
is money. That is why you need to invest a little of your
money into one of our wide belt sanders, routers or vertical
panel saws. This will be one of the best investments you have
ever made - our customers tell us that every day.

| Plastic
Fabrication and Distribution
Whether your need is for plastic sheet fabrication, distribution
of sheet goods, or cutting to size for thermoforming, a Safety Speed vertical panel saw is the ultimate tool for cutting
plastic sheets.
We offer three different models to match your unique cutting
needs. Our H-Series
machines have all the important advantages common to our larger
models but at a very affordable price. These machines all
have 10-foot frames for handling large sheets, industrial
duty saw motors and three different crosscut capabilities.
Our models 6400 and
6800 have heavy-duty
features for demanding production schedules. These saws feature
3hp worm-drive motors, solid aluminum rollers, double bearings
and deliver a cutting accuracy of 1/64".
The most demanding shops find our 7000, 7400
and 7400XL models exceed
their expectations at a price that significantly beats imported
machines. These machines feature induction motors and rugged
H-Beam guide tracks with a precision milled surface to guarantee
cuts within .005" straight and square. The 7400 models come
standard with a mid-way
fence, hold-down
bar, quick
stop, stand and dust
kit.
For our H-Series and 6400 and 6800 machines we recommend
the optional hold-down
bar, which greatly improves the cut quality for plastic
sheets less than 1/8" thick. For quick set-up, we suggest
adding our quick
stop gauge, which eliminates measuring and marking sheets
before cutting.
